Die folgende Liste enthält Vogelarten, welche ausschließlich in einer zoogeografischen Subregion vorkommen (siehe Stotz et al. 1996). Guatemala bedeckt teilweise folgende Subregionen: Yucatan (nördliches Tiefland Guatemalas), Zentralamerikanisches Hochland, Chiapas-Guanacaste (Pazifisches Tiefland Guatemalas), Südliches Zentralamerika (östliches Tiefland Guatemalas).
