Ornithologische Studien in Guatemala von Knut Eiserman und Claudia Avendaño von CAYAYA BIRDING

Knut Eisermann und Claudia Avendaño haben zahlreiche Publikationen zur Ornithologie Guatemalas beigetragen. Die meisten ihrer Studien wurden unter dem Dach des PROEVAL RAXMU Bird Monitoring Program veröffentlicht. Ihre Studien konzentrieren sich auf die Vogelwelt Mittelamerikas, v.a. Guatemalas, und beinhalten Evaluierungen lokaler Avifaunen, Untersuchungen zur Lebensweise ausgewählter Arten, Statusevaluierungen gefährdeter Arten, sowie die Identifizierung von kritischen Gebieten für den Vogelschutz.
